Who we are

Brave Engineering LLC is a technology services company based in Maryland, providing IT, networking, software, and AI services to businesses in Garrett and Allegany counties and select areas further east.

What we collect

We only collect information that you give us directly. Specifically:

When you submit our contact form, we collect the name, company, email address, phone number, service interest, and message you provide.

When you schedule an intro call through our Google Appointments booking page, we collect the name, email address, phone number, and any scheduling notes you provide. This information is handled by Google and stored in our Google Calendar.

When you email or call us directly, we keep a record of that conversation for our business records.

We do not sell or rent personal information to anyone, ever.

What we don't collect

We do not use advertising trackers, remarketing pixels, or third-party analytics tools that profile individual visitors across the web. We do not collect payment information through this website. We do not require account creation or logins to browse our site.

Cookies and basic analytics

Our website uses only the minimum cookies needed to function properly. If we use basic analytics to understand which pages are visited most, the data is aggregated and does not identify individual visitors. We do not use cookies for advertising or cross-site tracking.

Your browser gives you full control over cookies — you can block or delete them at any time without affecting your ability to use this site.

Third parties we use

We use a small number of service providers who handle your information on our behalf. Each one has its own privacy policy governing what it does with data:

Cloudflare hosts our website and may log basic technical information (IP addresses, browser type) for security and performance purposes.

Google provides our email, calendar, and appointment scheduling. Information you submit when booking an intro call is processed by Google under Google's privacy policy.

Our web application processes contact form submissions securely and delivers them to our team email.

We do not share your information with any other third parties except as required by law.

How we use your information

We use the information you give us to respond to your inquiry, schedule and conduct calls, prepare proposals, deliver services you've hired us for, and maintain our business records. We may occasionally send you a follow-up email if you've contacted us and we haven't heard back, but we don't run marketing campaigns or add you to mailing lists without your permission.

How long we keep it

We keep contact form submissions and scheduling records for as long as our business relationship is active, plus a reasonable period afterward (typically up to three years) for accounting, tax, and legal purposes. You can ask us to delete your information at any time — see below.

Your rights

You can ask us to:

• Tell you what information we have about you
• Correct anything that's inaccurate
• Delete your information (subject to any legal requirements that require us to keep it)
• Stop contacting you

Children

This website is a business services site and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

Changes to this policy

If we make meaningful changes to this policy, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, post a notice on the website. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated policy.
